Barrel Stave Coffee Table

Our Barrel Stave Coffee Table is built from genuine used barrel staves from retired bourbon and whiskey barrels. Each stave shows its history — the inner char that shaped the spirit, the curve formed by the cooper, and the markings earned from years in the rick house. We select, trim, and sand each piece for uniformity, then assemble them into a rigid, three-legged base that feels modern while still grounded in the materials origin. The wooden staves are cleaned thoroughly, the char has been scraped away of any residual bits and pieces, then sealed with multiple coats of a durable polyurethane.

The tempered glass top gives you a clear view of the staves below, keeping the footprint light and the design intentional. At 22.5″ tall, it sits comfortably in front of a sofa or lounge chair and anchors the room without overwhelming it. This is not the typical cut-barrel coffee table you see everywhere — it’s a cleaner, more considered way to bring real bourbon and whiskey heritage into your space.

Each Hiawatha Barrel product is crafted from authentic reclaimed materials, so natural variations in color, grain, patina, and markings are expected and part of its character.
