The ring is secured with screws, while a sturdy wooden backer, staples, and waterproof glue ensure long-term durability. A stainless-steel swivel base makes for smooth spinning. Each lid comes from a bourbon or whiskey barrel aged for years—never from beer barrels—retaining authentic character marks like stamps, dark lines, or small dents from its life in the distillery.
